Why Edwin Watts Golf Academy?

I would like to take this time to thank
you for your interest in Edwin Watts Golf Academy and
to answer any questions that you might have about our golf teaching methods. Our
teaching system was designed by P.G.A. Professional Bob Freer to make
it easier for everyone, from beginner to low handicap, to have the best
golf swing possible. Our system has been so successful that Edwin Watts Golf Academy is one of the largest golf schools in America!
The question most asked by inquiring golfers is "Why Edwin Watts Golf Academy rather than my club pro or a driving range pro?" The
answer is simple; they simply do not provide the golfer with
everything that he or she needs to learn a better golf swing. The
three key ingredients in learning the golf swing are knowledge, or
understanding what you're supposed to be doing, feedback, or
information about your performance, and problem solving,
or the ability to understand exactly what went wrong. If the
only thing that a person needed to learn a better golf swing was knowledge then
there would be no golf instructors. A person could get all
of the information that he or she needed from a book or a magazine
or even a video cassette, and that would be it! Unfortunately
it doesn't work that way.
At Edwin Watts Golf Academy the
knowledge that you will receive is all based on the scientific truths
involved in the golf swing. We are not going to show you pictures of
someone else swinging a golf club and then see if you can do that. You
will also receive immediate feedback when you practice with the Edwin Watts Golf Academy Video/Laser Teaching System. You will always
know whether or not you are making a good swing every time you practice.
You will also learn to understand and correct your mistakes through comprehensive
ball flight training. The most frustrating thing for golfers is
not knowing what went wrong when they made a bad shot.
The next question most asked by potential students is "Why
do you teach indoors?". When you practice at the range the only feedback that
you receive is the flight of the ball. Ball flight is good feedback
but it is not enough. You can see where the ball goes, but you cannot
see what you did wrong, or right for that matter.
We are providing golfers
with a feedback rich environment so that they can focus on
their swing, or technique, as well as ball flight. If you continuously
make good swings, you will be able to hit more
good shots on the golf course. It's all cause and effect. I hope that the preceding information
has been helpful and I hope to see you at one of our Edwin Watts Golf Academy Centers.
We have the only indoor facility where you will
receive everything that you need to become your very best. After all, if
all it took was more information and a little practice on your own, don't
you think you should be better by now? If you have any further questions
please feel free to call us anytime. We look forward to helping you improve
your golf game!
Sincerely,
Marc Fagan
