I took up golf after high school at the age of 18 where I took weekly lessons for 5 years from a local pro in my hometown spring hill Florida. While working on my own game I have had the chance to take and watch a few lessons with Rick Bradshaw (2004 & 2006 PGA Teacher of the Year North Florida Section) and Jim Dent Multiple winner on the champions tour). After moving to the DFW area I started my golf career at Golfsmith learning about the equipment, technology, and business aspects of the industry. During my time at Golfsmith I had a chance to spend time and observe lessons with the PGA professionals at GolfTEC and also had a chance to go out to the Harvey Penick Golf Academy, and from there started teaching after school junior programs with TOTAL GOLF ADVENTURES under PGA professional Troy Lewis. have been teaching with Edwin Watts Golf Academy for the last year, and have went through countless hours of training and studying the golf swing with the teaching professionals at EWGA! Most influential books are; Hogans Five Lessons,Fundamentals of Hogan by David Leadbetter ,Harvey Penicks the Little Red Book, and Tigers New Swing by John Andrisani fowarded by Jim Mclean.
